Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of SpendMo (“the App”), developed by Pinak Faldu (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using SpendMo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

SpendMo is a simple expense tracker built for speed. You can log an amount, pick a category, and finish quickly. Features may include:

Dashboard totals for today, this week, and this month
Weekly spending charts
Custom categories and recurring expenses
Optional daily reminders
Home Screen widgets
Offline use and CSV export

SpendMo does not require an account, does not sync with banks, and does not store your spending in our cloud. Your expense data stays on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SpendMo for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms / App Store rules.

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where allowed by law
Use the App for unlawful purposes
Circumvent Premium access, subscriptions, or other technical limits

No Account Required

SpendMo does not provide user accounts. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for any data stored locally on it, including backups and exports you create.

Premium Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features require a Premium subscription or a lifetime purchase (In-App Purchases). Current pricing (subject to change as shown in the App Store):

Monthly subscription: $4.99
Yearly subscription: $19.99
Lifetime plan: $29.99

A free trial may be offered on the monthly or yearly subscription. Trial length and eligibility are shown in the App Store at the time of purchase.

Billing and renewal

Payments are charged to your Apple ID account through the App Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or the equivalent App Store subscription management screen).
Free trial unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable, as disclosed by Apple at checkout.

Lifetime plan

The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium features for the life of the App product as offered, subject to these Terms. It is not a transferable license to source code or ownership of the App.

Your Data and Responsibility

Expense entries and related data are stored on your device.
We are not responsible for loss of local data due to device failure, OS updates, uninstalls, or failure to export/back up.
CSV exports are provided for your convenience; you are responsible for how you store or share exported files.
SpendMo is a personal tracking tool, not accounting, tax, investment, or professional financial advice.

Intellectual Property

SpendMo, including its name, design, and content (excluding your own expense entries), is owned by Pinak Faldu and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for Premium access in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if you only use free features).

Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use SpendMo. If you are under the age of majority, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms or the App’s features from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or stop providing the App, or terminate your license, if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.

Apple-Specific Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Pinak Faldu, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for SpendMo. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or intellectual property infringement claims. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
