Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SpendMo (“the App”), developed by Pinak Faldu (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the App.

SpendMo is built around a simple idea: your spending data stays on your device. We do not require an account, do not sync with your bank, and do not upload your expenses to our servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Expense amounts, categories, notes, or other financial entries you log in the App
  • Bank or payment account credentials
  • Sign-in or account credentials (SpendMo has no accounts)
  • Analytics that track your finances or spending habits
  • Location data for advertising or profiling

Information Stored on Your Device

All expense records, categories, recurring expenses, dashboard totals, and related settings you create in SpendMo are stored locally on your device.

  • Data remains on the device unless you choose to export it (for example, as a CSV file).
  • Uninstalling the App or clearing App data may permanently delete your local records. We cannot recover data stored only on your device.
  • Home Screen widgets display information drawn from the same on-device data.

Optional Features

Local notifications

If you enable an optional daily reminder, the App may schedule local notifications on your device so you remember to log expenses. These reminders are managed by your device’s notification system and are not used to track you across apps or websites.

In-app purchases

Premium features may require a subscription or lifetime purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment and subscription billing. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may share limited purchase status information needed to unlock Premium features on your device.

Third-Party Services

SpendMo does not use third-party analytics SDKs to monitor your finances. Purchases and subscription management are handled by Apple’s App Store / StoreKit infrastructure under Apple’s privacy practices.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Because expense data stays on your device and is not uploaded to us, we have no cloud copy of your spending to share with advertisers or data brokers.

You may choose to export your data (such as CSV) and share that file yourself. That export is under your control.

Children’s Privacy

SpendMo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us in a way that conflicts with this policy, contact us and we will address it.

Your Choices

  • You can edit or delete expenses and categories within the App.
  • You can export your data to CSV for backup or use in a spreadsheet.
  • You can disable reminders in Settings (or system notification settings).
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
